Title: Mama's Lime Sugar Cookies

| 2/3 | c | Shortening |
| 3/4 | c | Sugar |
| 2 | tb | Fresh lime juice |
| 1 | | Egg |
| 1 2/3 | c | Flour |
| 1 1/2 | ts | Baking powder |
| 1 | ts | Grated lime peel |
| 1/4 | ts | Salt |
Cream sugar, shortening and juice together. Add egg and mix thoroughly.
Combine remaining ingredients. Blend into creamed mixture.Drop by teaspoon
unto ungreased sheet. Flatten to 1/8inch thickness with bottom of glass
dipped in sugar. Bake at 375 degress for 7 to 9 minutes or until slightly
